Barry D. Fries, 80, of Kenton, passed away on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. He was born on August 19, 1938 in Pittsburgh, PA to the late Paul and Alice Fries. Barry married Sue Brammer on June 9, 1977 and she survives along with two sons: Jeffrey (Patti) Fries of Nebraska, and Mark Fries of California; and a daughter, Denise (Robert) Jensen of College Station, Texas. He is also survived by four grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and a brother, Chris (Barb) Fries of Carnegie, Pennsylvania. He was preceded in death by his brother, Dave (Jean) Fries. Barry loved fishing, camping and playing golf. He was also a woodworker. A memorial service for Barry will begin at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 27, 2018 at the SCHINDEWOLF-STOUT-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Kenton, where visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. on Thursday until the time of service.
