Robert J. "Bob" Roby Sr. 72 of Kenton past away on Sunday, January 24, 2021. Bob was born on December 14, 1948 in Kenton to the late Woodrow Wilson and Evelyn (Young) Roby. He graduated for Kenton High School in 1967. He married Mary Smith on July 24, 1989 and she survives. Bob is also survived by four children, Robert J. Roby Jr. of Toledo, Melissa Roby of Minnesota, Marti Roby and Mindy Roby both of Wyoming. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, Tasha Forness, Brandi (Travis) Nash, Shea Polak all of Minnesota, Cory Ruhlen of Dunkirk, Adam Mullins of West Minister, Cody Bailey of Kenton, Savanna Petrie of Wyoming and Alexis Frazier of South Dakota. Bob is also survived by seven great grandchildren; Kaitlyn, Austin, Elaina, Talon, Penny and Triston, sisters Donna (Stan) Price and Nancy Leightner and also sisters-in-law Darlene Roby of West Virginia and Nancy Roby of Lakeview. He was preceded in death by brothers Ronald Roby, Thomas Dale Roby, Wilbur Roby and great grandson, Braxton. Bob worked building silos for 46 years retiring from San-Con. He loved spending time with his family and friends. Bob also enjoyed the outdoors, traveling, hunting, fishing, trap shooting and was known for his great sense of humor. Memorials contribution can be made in the memory of Bob to Angels for the Elderly or a charity of the donors choice.
