Donald Paul "Don" Breidenbach, 72 of Kettering, Ohio passed away on Saturday, July 11, 2020 at Bellbrook Health and Rehab. He was born in Kenton, Ohio on July 26, 1947 to the late Paul and Kathryn (Lust) Breidenbach. He is survived by his companion, Linda Swanton; his former wife and good friend, Janet (Binning) Breidenbach, and their two children, Heather (Jeff Posakony) Breidenbach and Andrew (Melissa) Breidenbach; three grandchildren: Sam, Harper, and Kyleigh; one brother, Rodger (Christina) Breidenbach; and two sisters: Beth (Wray) Barnett and Cindy (Craig) Preston. Don was a graduate of Oakwood High School and received his Bachelor's in Engineering from the University of Cincinnati. He was an Aerospace Engineer at Wright Patterson Air Force Base. He was an avid reader and loved fishing, tinkering in his garage, and Bearcat sports. He was also a life member of the AMVETS and of the VFW Post #9927 in Kettering, Ohio. Funeral services will be held at 12:00pm Thursday, July 16, 2020 at SCHINDEWOLF-STOUT-CRATES FUNERAL HOME in Kenton with Pastor Steve Walter officiating. Burial will follow in Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service (11:00am-12:00pm) on Thursday at the funeral home.
