Rosemary Wallace, recently of Hicksville, Ohio, passed away on December 12, 2020 in Lima, Ohio at the age of 87. She was born Rosemary Virginia Brandon on March 15, 1933 in Blacklick, Ohio. She graduated from Gahanna Lincoln High School where she was a well loved member of her class enjoying cheerleading and reporting for the school newspaper. She married Ronald David Wallace on November 17, 1951. She is survived by her loving husband of 69 years, Ron, devoted children; Janet Sylvester (Jim), Cynthia Nicola (Doug), Michael Wallace (Denise) and Lori Wallace (Dawn), 14 precious grandchildren and 15 adorable great-grandchildren with two more on the way. Rosemary was devoted to her family in every way, delighting in preparing sumptuous meals for holiday feasts and always remembering those she loved with beautiful cards and thoughtful gifts. She was an adventurer at heart and loved to travel and explore the world. She worked as an executive secretary for most of her life, serving at corporations like Anheuser-Busch, Western Electric and The Ohio University, and enjoyed her friendships at the American Business Women's Association, Rose Capital Chapter in Columbus where she was honored as Woman of the Year in 1978. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her so much. A celebration of her life will be held this summer.

Janet, I am so sorry for the loss of your dear Mother. I have so many fond memories of spending time with your family and babysitting for you, Cindy, Mike, and Lori. After my brother Dick passed away, I lost contact with Walt so didn’t have updates on your lives. Please extend my sympathy to your Dad and your brother and sisters. I lost track of Rosemary and you after you moved to the Athens area. I had the pleasure of working with Rosemary at ASEA in the 80’s. She was like my second mom. I remember going to antique shows and her face would just light up. She was such a wealth of knowledge. She was one of the kindest individuals I’ve ever known.
