Robert E. Hosack, 75, of Kenton passed away on Thursday, December 26, 2019 at Kenton Nursing and Rehab. Bob was born in Kenton on August 6, 1944 to the late Claude and Louise Hosack. He married Sharon Eibling on May 7, 1966 and she preceded him in death on May 15, 2011. Surviving are a son, Robert E. Hosack Jr, and daughter, Dawn (Brian) Richardson, both of Kenton; grandchildren: Elizabeth (Kurt) Carothers of Findlay, Christina (Jake) Dyer of Kenton, Cash Richardson, and Carter Richardson; and three great-grandchildren: William and Skylar Carothers, and Maggie Dyer. Bob is also survived by his sister, Gaylo Howard of IN; stepbrothers: Gene Albert, Joe Albert, Harold (Kathy) Albert, and Andrew (Sandy) Albert; brother-in-law, Kenneth Clay; and special friend, Janet Reese. He was preceded in death by his brother, Charles Hosack; sister, Louella Clay; brother-in-law, Larry Howard; stepbrother, Philip Albert; stepsister, Demaril Sparks; stepsister-in-law, Evelyn Albert; and his stepmother, Margaret Albert. Bob was a 1962 graduate of Kenton High School and served his country proudly in the U.S. Air Force. He worked for and retired from Durez Corporation. He loved playing guitar and riding his motorcycle, but most of all, Bob loved spending time with is grandchildren. He was a member of the Amvets Post 1994. No services will be held at this time. So sorry for your loss.
Outstanding memories
1966 four of us, Bob, Sharon, Marvin Bitler and I ( on visit from UK) on our way to a fair, took a bridge in Bobs black coupe and nearly lost the exhaust ( muffler )
1977 visiting the Hosacks in bicentennial year and sharing my birthday with Bob. It was a very large cake!! But you two did it proud.
