Ruth A. Titus, 92 of Kenton passed away on Wednesday, January 27, 2021. She was born in Forest, Ohio on March 2, 1928 to the late Merritt and Lucille (Johnson) Flowers. Ruth married Leonard E. Titus on June 4, 1946 and he preceded her in death on August 5, 1970. Mrs. Titus is survived by two sons; Ron Titus and Roger (Sherrill) Titus both of Kenton, three grandchildren; Michelle Shroyer Overholser, Stacy Titus Craig, Ashley Titus Heilman and 8 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Sharon (Ben) Shroyer, brother, John Flowers, sister, Martha (Kenny) Barkheimer, granddaughter, Ronna Titus Sweeney and daughter-in-law Judi Long Titus. Ruth worked at North Electric for many years. She then worked at Greenacres Nursing Home. She also attended St. John's Church of Christ. Visitation for Ruth will be held on Sunday, January 31, 2021 from 1:00 - 3:00 PM at the SCHINDEWOLF-STOUT-CRATES FUNERAL HOME and for one hour (1:00 - 2:00) Monday prior to the service. A funeral service will begin at 2:00 PM on Monday, February 1, 2021 at the SCHINDEWOLF-STOUT-CRATES FUNERAL HOME with pastor Randall Forester officiating. Burial will follow in Grove Cemetery.
