Carol Anne Robinson
1937 - 2020
Carol Ann Robinson, joined her Lord and Savior in Heaven on December 21, 2020 at Logan Acres Care Center in Bellefontaine. Greeting her with hugs of welcome were her husband, John D. Robinson, and their son, John Michael Robinson. Also, there to meet her was her parents John and Ethel Garwood Dauer, and infant brother, Jack. Carol was born in North Canton, Ohio on October 31, 1937. She graduated from the Dola High School in 1955. Carol was a natural pianist, accompanying choirs in high school competitions, and playing the clarinet in the band. While on their Senior Class trip to New York City, she met her future husband, who lived down the road about 30 miles near Rushsylvania. Carol supported her husband and family in all the farms ventures. Being secretary of the Ohio Hampshire Sheep Association, and the Ohio Appaloosa Horse Association for many years. One of her greatest joys was playing the piano. She played for Benjamin Logan High School Musicals for 4 years while her children were in the plays. She also accompanied other students at competitions. For many years, she played for the Harper, Big Springs and Rushsylvania Methodist Church, the community Christmas Cantata, and community services. While at the Ohio State Fair one year, she came upon the Longaberger Giant Picnic Basket. She said any company who could have that much fun, she wanted to be a part of, and she did for over 28 years. Rising up thru the sales field to become a regional director. Carol leaves behind her daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Jan Beach. Granddaughter, Bailey Anne Beach. Brothers and sisters-in-law; Ron and Frossie Dauer of Dunkirk, Ohio and Kenny and Velma Dauer of Green Bay, Wisconsin. Brother-in-law and sister-in-law; Jerry and Penny Robinson of Bellefontaine and sister-in-law; Jane Robinson also of Bellefontaine. No services are planned at this time, until it is safe for family and friends to travel and visit together. Burial will be in Rushsylvania Cemetery at a later date. Per Carol's wishes, her body will be donated to the Ohio State University Body Donor Program. Arrangements have been entrusted to the SCHINDEWOLF-STOUT-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Kenton. The family would like to thank the staff of Logan Acres for their love and care for Carol over the past 2 years. Especially since the Covid-19 shutdown, reduced the family visit times.
