Harry "Ross" Weaver

1938 - 2020

Harry "Ross" Weaver, 82 of Kenton passed away on Monday, November 23, 2020 at Marion General Hospital. Ross was born on June 21, 1938 on the family farm in Marseilles Ohio to Donald and Ruthella (Fernbaugh) Weaver who preceded him in death. On March 6, 1960 he married DiAnn Hastings of Kenton. They celebrated 60 years of marriage and she survives. Ross is survived by his loving family, brothers Dave (Carol), Marion (RoseAnn), and Sam (Jean). His four children LeVern (Nancy) of Kenton, Donovan (Kristi) of Ridgeway, DeWayne (Melissa) of Kenton, and Lucille (Bob) Burden of West Liberty; 12 grandchildren; Natasha (Shawn) Dyer, Nathan Weaver, Grant Burden, Taylor (Seth) Weaver-Rosamillia, Benjamin Burden, Brady (Hannah) Weaver, Trevor Burden, Matthew Weaver, Nicholas Burden, Gabrielle Weaver, Alexandr Weaver, and Raisa Weaver, and 3 great-grandchildren; Sydney Dyer, Levi Dyer, Clayton Weaver. Ross along with being a devoted husband and father, was also a dedicated dairy farmer for 40 years. Taking over the family farm and eventually milked up to 250 head of Holsteins. He retired from farming and enjoyed vacationing with his wife and family. He was a member of Eastern Star serving many offices including Worthy Patron. He was also a Mason serving as Master Mason of the Marseilles Lodge 515. He was a member of the St. John's Evangelical Church of Christ in Kenton and was a life long member of the church choir. He graduated from Marseilles High School in 1956, where he played basketball. He enjoyed all sports especially OSU games and watching his grand kids participate in activities. He had a love for Boston Terriers, especially his latest 2 dogs, Katie and her puppy Streudel. A family funeral celebration of life will begin at 11:00am on Tuesday, December 1, 2020 the SCHINDEWOLF-STOUT-CRATES FUNERAL HOME. A viewing for family and close friends will be held from 10:00am Tuesday until the time of service. Burial will follow in Grove Cemetery.
